It's cold here, and it's only going to get colder. In fact, it's going to snow tomorrow. And not like how in the south they say "Oh, it'll snow," and there are like 3 flakes, and the whole city shuts down. The last I heard, we're expected to get at least 16 inches. Yeah. It's THAT kind of snow.
This means I need some ways to stay entertained in the house, as I anticipate that we'll be here for the foreseeable future. I've been meaning to hold a Varsity Piping Practice session for myself, so I'm thinking this might be a great time. I'll probably practice on cookies with royal icing, since that seems like a good starting point. And for the record, I kind of hate royal icing for flavor, but there's pretty much nothing better for piping.
I'll take pictures of the progress. Watch for updates!!
Now I just need supplies. Off to Target, before everyone else in town buys everything they have!
